Youth Tech Inc is seeking a computer teacher/lead instructor for its locations in Plano area camps. Youth Tech Inc is a non-profit computer camp who is dedicated to providing enrichment opportunities for students with a passion for learning. Summary of the Teacher Position: The Teacher/Lead Instructor needs to be tech savvy and have the ability to deliver fun and meaningful instruction. In addition, they should act as a role model for the students enrolled in the camp. The Computer Teacher needs to create an optimal learning environment; a Lead Instructor is in charge of continuously supervising students, maintaining a safe atmosphere. If we can find a quality instructor we can teach them the tech skills to run our camps. PAID TRAINING: Take part in pre-camp training sessions. Complete ALL pre-camp training requirements and paperwork. Be a self-starter have the ability to learn software and curriculum for multiple courses. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB Administrative:
- Set-up, tear down, and product inventory/assessment - ability to lift 50lbs
- Check-in campers
- Supervise all students and maintain a safe environment
- Meet Youth Tech Inc. Quality Assurance Measurements
- Take on additional duties as needed and assigned
