We are seeking three excellent academics to join our staff as Assistant Professors / Lecturers in Law. We are one of the fastest growing Law Schools in Europe, and applications are welcome from those with expertise in all areas of law. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Intellectual Property Law;
- Family Law and the Law of Succession;
- Law and Social inclusion/ Public Interest Law;
- Data Protection/ Privacy law.
The persons appointed will have a proven record of teaching, research, and publication, appropriate to career stage. They will be expected to make a strong contribution to the teaching programme of the Department, to undertake teaching duties on the Department’s undergraduate (LLB, BCL, and Études Juridiques), and postgraduate (International Business Law, International Justice, and Global Legal Studies), programmes, to facilitate and supervise placements and research projects for students, and to supervise Masters and PhD students.
Assistant Professor/ Lecturer (2021*)Salary Scale: €55,397 – €87,724 p.a. (7 points)
Assistant Lecturer (2021*) Salary Scale: €35,246 – €61,595 p.a. (14 points)
Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.
*New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the Assistant Lecturer (2021) payscale or the Lecturer (2021) payscale.
