Red Envelope is seeking a Director of Marketing for a faith-based non-profit that serves thousands of young people a year in a camp environment.
The Director of Marketing leads the effort in bringing new young people, families and donors into the organization through effective communication and branding strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an overall communication plan for all stakeholders
- Develop strategies and implement tactics to reach new donors
- Develop and lead brand strategy
- Support retention strategies for campers, families, leaders, donors and ministry partners
- Data management related to campers, families and partners
- Lead the internal Marketing Communication Team including writing, production and photography
- Complete other duties as assigned by the President and CEO
Requirements
Basic requirements
- Commitment to the mission and ministry of the organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field required
- 5 to 7 years previous marketing experience required
Preferred requirements
- Experience in marketing communication strategies and tactics
- Excellent and well developed oral and written communication skills
Working conditions
- Must be able to lift, bend, and twist
- Ability to push and pull loads
- Must be able to lift frequently up to 35 lbs.; occasionally 35-100 lbs. with assistance
- Good hand-eye coordination
