Job Description

This position will assist the Executive Director with fundraising, including identifying new donors and coordinating meetings, maintaining communication with new and current donors, and overseeing Alumni relations and the Annual Campaign for the Foundation. Additional responsibilities include:

Maintain database for donors (Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge)

Maintain Alumni Relations, including contacts through social media and traditional methods

Maintain the Alumni Website and social media pages. Assist with coordination of special events; for current and prospective donors

Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Receptive to learning and developing good interpersonal relationships

A team player

Experience with software and database management of iWave PRO, Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge, MetaSoft/Foundation Search, STARS/AwardSpring systems, and Peoplesoft/SIS

Some Information Systems Technology experience required to maintain websites for Alumni and Foundation.

Strong computer literacy

Strong organizational skills

Experience working with donors through a Major Gifts Campaign

Experience and working knowledge of day-to-day operations of Non-Profit Organizations

Working knowledge of Financial Aid processes

Prior experience working in higher education atmosphere.
