The Eye Cancer Foundation (http://eyecancercure.com) is an emerging public charity that has a mission of finding cures and sight-saving treatments for all forms of pediatric and adult eye cancers. We support research, education and world-wide cooperation for the benefit of patients with eye cancer. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to build and develop a similar organization. 

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop organizational structure

  2. Cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors and supporters especially individual donors

  3. Research, seek out and complete foundation funding opportunities

  4. Run project development

  5. Represent the foundation at medical, corporate, social and civic functions

  6. Develop and implement a public relations and marketing plan

  7. Maintain oversight over all fundraising activities including major giving, grants, special events, direct mail appeals, corporate partnership initiatives

  8. Work with the Board of Directors, including the Board fundraising committee, in development-related projects

  9. Write reports, newsletters, grant proposals
