Team Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time VP, Development & Operations to oversee the Foundation’s fundraising and donor development efforts. This position will also provide strategic support for internal operations, staff and process management, and organizational efficiencies.

 Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead Team Pennsylvania’s investor development efforts, coordinating with the President & CEO on strategic goals and short- and long-term objectives;

  • Cultivate and maintain a multi-year strategy to achieve annual fundraising goals and manage the development process to ensure synergy with Team PA’s overall development efforts;

  • Supervise development and support staff, including monthly and annual goal setting and performance reviews;

  • Manage organizational resources, including staff, as set out by the President & CEO and the Board of Directors, with the goal of maximizing the Foundation’s success in advancing its mission over the long term;

  • Oversee the development, adoption, and amendments to effective internal policies and procedures, including support for benefits and compensation analysis, hiring, staff development, technology and facility needs, and other organizational needs to ensure an effectively supported and empowered team; and

  • Create tailored solicitation and communications strategies for fundraising initiatives.

 Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to interact with agency and private sector CEO-level leadership;

  • Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills;

  • High level of professionalism and personal integrity;

  • Self-motivated, independent worker who can also excel in a team dynamic;

  • Strong computer skills (knowledge of RaisersEdge/Blackbaud systems preferred);

  • Capacity to navigate a diverse portfolio of projects and events simultaneously; and

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 10+ years of professional experience.
